截至10月底,ICSID已新受理公约下的投资仲裁案件46件,另受理ICSID附加便利规则下的投资仲裁案件2件,登记UNCITRAL规则下的投资仲裁案件1件,与去年同期相比,总计增长达32%。

Wesley Pang
Eversheds Sutherland
Wesley is a partner in the global Litigation and Dispute Management group. He is based in Hong Kong, where he leads our international arbitration practice in Asia.
Wesley has over a decade of experience in advising private and sovereign clients on commercial and investor-State disputes under various institutional rules. He has particular expertise in energy sector and infrastructure project disputes in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He worked for several years with a major US law firm in their New York, Paris and London offices. During this time he worked on some of the largest, most complex disputes in the world. He also worked with the firm’s project development and finance team, advising clients in the oil and gas sector on contentious and non-contentious issues.
He is a published writer and regular commentator on developments in the international arbitration field.
Wesley is a member of a the ICC-HK’s Arbitration & ADR Committee and the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law.

Z.J. JENNIFER LIM focuses her practice on international dispute resolution and arbitration. She has represented clients in investor-state and commercial arbitrations, including proceedings conducted under the ICSID, ICSID (Additional Facility), and UNCITRAL Rules, as well as ICC, HKIAC, SIAC and LCIA arbitrations seated in Hong Kong, Singapore and New York. She also has broad experience advising on general transnational litigation matters, including arbitration-related court proceedings and complex cross-border disputes. Since 2019, she has been recognized as a “Future Leader” in international arbitration by Who’s Who Legal, a publication focused on a selection of outstanding lawyers aged 45 or under.
Prior to joining Sidley, Jennifer worked in the New York and Hong Kong offices of another global law firm. She also served as a law clerk to Judge Hisashi Owada and Judge Leonid Skotnikov at the International Court of Justice, The Hague, the Netherlands.
Jennifer is a member of the ICC Task Force “Addressing Issues of Corruption in International Arbitration” and a member of the HK45 Committee for the 2018-2020 term. From 2014 to 2016, she was a member of the International Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association. She also served on the Program Committee for the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Society of International Law.
Jennifer is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Mariel Dimsey

Mariel is an international commercial and investment arbitration specialist based in the CMS Hong Kong office. She is an Australian Lawyer and Hong Kong Solicitor with over 15 years’ experience acting as advisor and advocate in numerous international arbitrations covering a wide range of legal systems and industries, including investment arbitration.
Mariel regularly sits as arbitrator and has sat in cases administered by HKIAC, ICC, DIS, KCAB and ad hoc under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules and domestic arbitration laws. She has extensive experience in China-related disputes, both as counsel and arbitrator.
